A song about regret, time and wasted times, ‘Burned’ showcases how DB’s gritty vocal and lyrical ability can blend together. The announcement of DB’s debut single comes hot off the heels of him preparing to play the Carlow Live & Local festival on June 10. While he has worked with Sleeping Bears in the past on ‘Fire In My Soul’, ‘Burned’ marks DB’s first solo foray into the world of music. Released under Ragged Company Recordings

‘Burned’ is a track that rises from a deep synth opening to a tumultuous bassy conclusion filled with slick guitar riffs and vocal runs. Taking his inspiration from the likes of Michael Kiwanuka, Matt Maeson and more, DB has weaved some soul intonations into a singer-songwriter style track.
